Jesus Christ Is The Plumbline

Jesus Christ is the plumbline. Jesus Christ is not to be defined by politics, circumstances or social issues. In fact, Jesus Christ is the One who gives the right perspective to His Body on how to live, move and have our being. Everything we do as Believers is to be walked out in “the light of Christ”.

Right now there are many in the Body of Christ that are trying to make the “Head” of the body, that is Jesus Christ, a “head” of their own image. Through the arms of politics, religion and social issues, they are trying cast a new mold. In doing so, situations, social issues and relationships have become their god and Jesus Christ has been relegated to a powerless Jesus.

Wake up! Wake up! Sound the alarm for there is a poisonous viper striking in the midst of the Body of Christ. The religious and political spirits of the day have unified to trick and entice her into serving a different god and believing a different gospel.

Empty philosophy and theology that depends on human tradition will always cheat us from fullness of life and power that has been made available to us in Christ Jesus!

Body of Christ we must awaken, but Let us awaken first to Christ Jesus and then walk accordingly. Clothe yourself in Christ Jesus. Don’t awaken to the planted viper of the enemy or you will be blinded by its deceptions and become toxic through its poison.

“I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.”
