Opened Eyes To See

There is something that happens within us, within the depths of our very souls, when we realize that we are not alone. Jesus promised that He would never leave us or forsake us, but the enemy constantly is contesting that as a reality.

The other day, the Holy Spirit took me into a vision of a large battlefield. I was engaged in an extremely fierce battle fighting off multiple attacks from enemy soldiers. All of a sudden a light of illumination burst forth in my mind, allowing me to understand something in the heat of battle that I hadn’t before. While the thought was something I knew as knowledge, I had never experienced this knowledge in quite this way before as a weapon of attack, this was a whole new facet of understanding being revealed to me. In that one moment, I knew I had a secret weapon. My secret weapon wasn’t an object that I would wield, but it was a person, that I could trust in, it was my Champion, it was Jesus. All the lights went on in my brain and a path of victory was revealed. “I am not alone here,” I thought. “My Champion, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah is here too.”, as soon as that burst of illumination hit my mind, I began to laugh with a knowing, that my enemy didn’t stand a chance. All of a sudden, charging through the fray from behind me, came my Champion. At the top of his lungs he let out a fierce battle cry, “ONSLAUGHT!!!!!”, and with that He began to dispatch enemies to my right and to my left until none stood. Behind him a mighty angelic army began to sweep through the battlefield moving both in front and behind me, taking out the fiercest of enemy soldiers until the force that had come against me turned and fled.

The Lord reminded me of the moment in 2 Kings 6, where the prophet Elisha asks the Lord to open the eyes of his servant so that he could see how much more fight with us than fight against us.

2 Kings 6:15-18 (NASB)
Now when the attendant of the man of God had risen early and gone out, behold, an army with horses and chariots was circling the city. And his servant said to him, “Alas, my master! What shall we do?” So he answered, “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” Then Elisha prayed and said, “O LORD, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” And the LORD opened the servant’s eyes and he saw; and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

The Lord is coming today to remind you, “ If God be for you, who can be against you?”

“I AM the Great Champion. I Am the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, I do not slumber, I do not sleep. I am always with you, I have never left you, nor will I forsake you. I am causing your eyes to be opened to see that you are not alone. The enemy has tried to isolate you and cause you to feel separated from me in the heat of battle. Hear my fierce battle cry for I have declared victory and decreed defeat over the enemy and I am crying forth “ONSLAUGHT!!” on your behalf. Where there has been an onslaught of the enemy against you, I will now bring on overcoming onslaught against him. Rise and laugh Beloved, for I am bringing an onslaught against the enemy that will utterly obliterate his work in your life. My love for you does vengeance against him and reduces his machinations and strategies against you to dust. Let your eyes be opened now to see Me as I truly am. I AM your secret weapon. I AM your Champion and in Me is complete victory!”

In Jesus name, I prophesy to you that your Great Champion is here. I declare to your eyes, “ BE OPEN and SEE the vast army of fire that fights with you.” You are not alone, you never have been and you never will be. As you begin to allow the knowledge of the Greatness of the Lion of the Tribe of Judah to wash over you, you will see that the tide of the battle has turned. COMPLETE VICTORY has been decreed by the Lord Almighty and an onslaught of the armies of heaven have been released against the enemy. Laugh beloved! Look the enemy in the eye and Laugh at him, knowing that your Champion, Jesus, is mighty to save and has delivered this day the enemy into your hands!
